At the World Internet Summit, one of the speakers had everyone close their eyes and visualize something they truly wanted or wanted to be doing with their lives. The idea is to spend just a few minutes everyday doing this and eventually the visualization will become a reality.
It sounds a bit corny and I am sure most people have heard of the technique before, but how many people have actually tried it. I think it can work. I still believe you still need to work at what it is you want to achieve, but spending time visualizing what you want will help you to stay focused.
A similar technique is to write down your goals on a piece of paper and look at them everyday. Often you hear people saying “I want to quit my job” or “I want to get out of debt”. It is things they want to do, but never do anything about them. Perhaps they think it is beyond their reach, or whatever they try doesn’t work. Few people in this group however, make it a clear goal of what they want to achieve.
If you really want something in life, write it down some where you can see it everyday, share it with your partner and your family. Visualize it happening and how you are going to achieve it.
Feel free to write a goal in the comments of what you would like to accomplish in the next six months.
