That’s an ambitious, but do-able goal. I’ve seen others make similar challenges in the last few months. Hubpages is going to have a lot of content. I haven’t tried info barrel yet, but I shall give it a look as it seems to be getting a lot of touts lately.

Just to make you feel better it has been taking me about 14 days to get an article approved at ezine the last month. I write good articles, and fire them off and forget, expecting to be approved. However last month I wasn’t seeing my articles in my stats like usual and checked my control panel – they were still being reviewed. May have to take your tip of sending support an email.

I don’t know if the recession is driving a lot more people to make money online, but I have seen a significant increase in wait time across a lot of similar services.

BTW..first time on your blog. Good work. I see it is a small community – I’ve been a regular visitor to Kirsty’s blog. May Have to think about setting up a flagship of my own… Pete

Great idea! I will give that a go. So far I am just sort of hastily rewriting older articles and I’m not sure how helpful that’ll be.

Ok, great. I have generally been writing articles with similar themes to my websites. It makes sense to me because I can make money from Infobarrel and get backlinks to my sites at the same time.

I have been using keyword research to help write the article, rather than finding nice topics.

I type in keywords like “Tokyo hostels” and see what other keywords I can use in my article. I then copy and paste in keywords that have good search volume and advertiser competition to a blank document and then start writing.

Those keywords then help form the basis of the article.

I don’t know if this is the right way or not but it was I am trying right now and I am seeing an increase in my adsense.

Hey Mike! Sounds like you’re on the right track. I think this is the sort of thing I need to get myself motivated so I’m in.

I currently have about 8 articles over on eZine, 1 on InfoBarrel and a whopping zero HubPages. I am going to aim to have 50 articles on Infobarrel and 30 Hubs as well by the end of the month and see if I can keep up with you.

So far with my article writing efforts I have been in it to get links back to my own sites. So my article topics have been chosen based on which pages I was planning on linking to. I haven’t done any keyword research or branched out to new ares at all. Is that something you do every time? Are you writing about stuff you’ve already got on your own sites or try out completely new angles based on keyword research?

Well I better go set up a HubPages account…
