Hey, if you ever want travel content, let me know.
The hubby and I spent about 2 months out of the year travelling (just heading off to Australia/Tahiti for a month) and we do A LOT of research before going anywhere.
I’d have no problem supplying some original content. Let me know the voice and the target and I’ll send you a sample.

I’m curious to see how this project turns out for you. I have purchased a travel domain too (100countries.com since one of my lifetime goals is to travel to 100 different countries), but know I don’t have near the time it would take to get that started. I’ll definitely be taking pointers from your experience.

Valid point. My site won’t be making money for a while yet, so I am thinking of buying articles and writing stuff myself to get started.

I could possilbly get people who are interested in writing but no nothing about affiliate programs to become “country editors” where they maintain the content for a particular country and share in the revenue for the whole site.

Perhaps it is a long shot, but I think that I can apply what I have learnt over the past couple of years to the new project.

Throwing a bit of money in for a nice looking design, adwords to drive traffic, links from my other sites and some paid content, should see it kickstart a little.

I think forming partnerships is a wonderful way to go – in addition to partnering with Nate, we also have a number of partners for other sites and blogs we run.

The one thing that I have found is that it is difficult to get partners to sign on before sites are actually making a bit of money. It’s much easier to say I have a site currently making $xx a month and I’m willing to share a portion of it with you if you will provide content than saying I have a new site that makes nothing.
