I have downloaded and installed a new theme for the blog. It have been something I have been meaning to do for quite a while now.

I think it makes a nice change for the site.

I like. Very neat. DEFINITELY prefer it to the old one. (Not that I’m insulting the old theme)…

  2. Mike says:

I don’t know why I didn’t change it sooner! There are some very nice 3 column templates out now.

This template does not apear to be working in safari …

The center column extends under the left column.. This is only a problem with the boxes for the title etc.

  4. Wow…that was a surprise. nice look. Something that I also need to do…

  5. Mike says:

    Safari? What’s that? ;-)

The links on the right also mess it up a bit.

I put if off because I thought it might take some time, but it took all of about 15 minutes to change over.

You have got to love WordPress!

It also looks a mess on Firefox.
Sounds like the same problem as on Safari: the centre column extends under the left column.

  7. Mike says:

It looked nice in IE, but yes all messed up in FF. Perhaps there is a fix.

  8. Mike says:

It looks as though having too many links in the top bar was causing the problem. By default, the theme places all of your “page” links in the top bar.

The Ajax commenting is pretty cool though.
