It’s been more than one year since I updated the theme for this blog. I have been using the Revolution theme for the past year and installed it when magazine type themes were popular. I have since discovered the Frugal Theme and have been installing it on my new blogs and sites.
Magazine themes are good, but I found it was time consuming having to play around with the layout, particularly as this site really is just a blog.
I have a bad habit of starting new sites and then getting bored of them. It is not easy starting and promoting a new site. I know I need to leverage sites like this one that already have a bunch of incoming links and rank for some keyword phrases.

The new theme looks like nice, I love the simplicity, but highlighting the “money posts” might be harder.
Great to see you’ve revived the old blog! I was wondering what happened to it. I like the simplicity of this theme and think it would be a great one for WP tweakers like me who need a simple theme to start with to avoid mass confusion.
I look forward to reading more about what you’re up to and what your projects are. Things are so much easier when you’re in one place with a good net connection. I am at home now and after a false start (broken router) I am ready to put in some serious work… after a week on a boat though.
