I need an ebook

It seems like everyone is promoting their ebooks these days. I am not sure if anyone would be interested in purchasing a book I wrote, but I would love to give it a go.

I say go for it. eBooks tend to be the way to go. Judging from your archives you have a lot of quality content that people would fnid interesting.

I would recommend the usual tips with your eBook. Write and compile, and give away a few chapters for free. After the visitors to your blog or website see the quality with which you write, they might purchase it.

    Good luck!

A little research should tell you one way or the other ;)

Once you find a topic that you feel would have a market, you could always start by putting up a ‘coming soon’ site and setting up a mailing list for people to sign up to be notified when the book is available.

This will give you an idea how many people are interested. It will also give you time for that domain name to become established in the search engines (which you will later turn into a sales page). AND it will give you a targeted mailing list to begin with.

Keep in mind that you dont have to go with an “ebook”. It could be a guide, report, white paper, etc.

    Best,
    Lynn Terry

  3. It also depends what you want to do with it – if your main purpose is driving traffic, you can give it away for free with links to your sites / blogs – and earn the money through greater traffic

Lyn, thanks for the tips. Nice blog by the way.

I have been meaning to add a newsletter sign-up for a while now.

I would probably make the ebook free for a while and perhaps charge later if I got some positive feedback.

I have started writing something on making money on the internet. I know the subject is really overdone, but it is a topic which people are truly interested in and people go crazy over.
