Google Alerts adding blogs

I have been using Google alerts now for quite some time. They are a great way to both keep track of any keywords that appear on the web, or even to monitor your own sites.

The alerts came mainly from news type sites, but now Google has added blogs. Many alerts are from blogs being hosted at blogger. I started out at blogger and couldn’t wait to get onto my own domain. I have kept the original blog account (PR5), so I am think now, it would hurt to add an occasional entry to if I wanted to focus on any particular keywords.
