I spent a few weeks once working in a warehouse in Melbourne. I met some interesting people there, including one guy who was an alcoholic, getting benefits from the Australian government, who had an ex-stripper girlfriend and later got busted for stealing stuff (nice guy though).
The manager walked around the place complaining, “Good help is hard to find”. I am currently looking for someone to help post articles on my Australian Forum. Do you think I can find someone?
The first person I hired (an American) was doing a fantastic job, but her knowledge of Australia started to get limited and just decided to post as an American looking to move to Australia. Someone else I contacted just seemed to vanish and an Indian guy just started asking too many questions and then questioned if I would actually pay him money.
I feel a little bad as my heart is not really in the website right now, but I want to keep the site moving. It is starting to get picked up by Google. If you know of anyone who can help, please drop me an email.

Have you tried finding some Australian University students? If there’s an Australian equivalent to Craigslist, try posting there. Or maybe even go to the Universities directly. They might have a job posting board.
Motivation is the key to succeeding online – you still need to move forward even when your heart may not be 100% into it.
I can help you as I am not working atm… but I am not staying in Australia. I don’t see why that should be a problem though since the job is online.
Drop me an email if you would like to take up my help and we can discuss further.
I always get worried when I see people wanting to pay people to post on their forum. You really shouldn’t need to provide a financial incentive for people to post.
If you think current members aren’t posting enough, then step back and think why this may be the case.
Instead of hiring some writers to make posts, how about hiring some article writers and incorporating an articles section into your site?
This should attract some search engine traffic and forum members if you link to your forum at the end of each article and invite comments.

While I agree there needs to be quality content for people to post, there is nothing that keeps people from posting more than a non active forum. Why make a post if you can see there hasn’t been any activity for the last month? There is nobody there to answer your question.
When you start a brand new forum you either have to make posts yourself, or pay someone to do it. As I said the first person I had was doing a great job and I noticed that other people started joining and making posts.
I am pretty happy with how the forum is progressing, but I still need more loyal fans. At the moment people are asking their questions and then moving on. It could be fairly typical of a travel forum.
I would be happy with just a few more regular contributors.
Do you still need help? You haven’t emailed me yet. I am still available and I should add that though I don’t stay in Australia atm, I have lived there for 3.5 years, so I believe I would be able to handle the Australia forum.
