I was taking a look at Elance today. People can submit internet/website/content/software work they would like done and people bid for the work. Kind of like an online tendering system.
Even if you are not interested in doing any of the work, it can give you a good idea as to what projects people are working on. It could also be a good place to look for freelance writerts and developers.
If you have a bit of money, you could outsourse a whole website. If you can think of a good niche area using the keyword locators I have posted about previously to see if it can generate some good income, you could get a whole website done with a few hundred articles, SEO’ed with all the bells and whistles for around $1000.
One thousand dollars may sound like a lot of money, but compare setting up a site with for that much money with a forum and so forth with investing a $1000 in the stock market. It would be interesting to compare which will make you more money. At least creating your own profitable site would give you a lot more satisfaction.
