A trader working for Mizuho bank made a serious error by selling 610,000 shares for just 1 yen, around 1 cent. The shares are regularly traded for around 610,000 yen or around $5,000! People who bought the shares apparently have to give them back, but the bank stands to loose around $340 million.

I must admit I have been a late starter on the Internet. I only started blogging this year and started making my own websites this year. Amazingly, I studied Computer Science at university but after three years I had enough of programming and had to do something different. It has only taken me 10 years, [...]

I have reached over 200 posts on this site! I thought my enthusiasm would die fairly early but in fact I have become more interested in keeping this site. I spend some time jotting down my thoughts but this site is probably the most unprofitable site I own. So why do I keep writing? Well [...]

I got the report back today from the builder. The house is in fair condition and will require some work to get it rent-able again. I am going to call the builder tomorrow to confirm some details. The house is fairly cheap and with a little work it could be worth a lot more. There [...]

Something seems to be against me on this transaction. The tenants that were living in the property have left without paying some of their rent. This doesn’t worry me, but it creates a problem because no-one is legally allowed to enter the property – even to do a property inspection until the previous tenants collect [...]

I have spent some time signing up for a feedburner account and adding some RSS feeds for my sites. I have been blogging here for more than a year haven’t paid much attention to these kinds of services. Actually, I am still yet to add this blog. I have added feeds for dot Japan and [...]

There seems to be a problem getting access to the property I am considering purchasing. I am waiting to organize a building inspection of the property. Even though the property is now vacant, the realestate agent seems to be causing some kind of hold up. It is quite frustrating not knowing exactly what is happening.
