Yet another new extension will be released soon. A .asia extension makes sense to me, since we have a .eu extension already. It is also another chance for domain registers to make a killing and people who trade domain names.
Asia also has some of the fastest growing economies in the world. You can pre-register domains at godaddy now, but the land grab doesn’t start until February. I have pre-registered a few names, but I doubt I will get any of them. If more than two people bid on a name, it will go up for auction.
.mobi names have had pretty good resale value since their launch two years ago. Registration at godaddy is $40 for two years. Picking up a couple of good names could be a pretty good investment.

Yes this is another good opportunity to get some good names. Also using the .asia extension to make up new words is new doors in making nice domains. Ive also registered a few and im willing to win auctions.
